Negara matahari terbit, Jepun antara negara yang produktif
dalam melahirkan band-band ternama dunia antaranya ialah Galneryus, band Power
neo-classiccal metal(kadang-kala dikata
sebagai power metal dan ada pula neo classical metal).berasal dari Osaka, Jepun.
Band ini ditubuhkan dalam tahun 2001 oleh gitaris Syu (bekas anggota Valkyr,
Aushvitz dan Masaki Project) bersama dengan Yama-B Yamaguchi (bekas vokalis
AxBites dan artis solo Rekio, River End dan Gunbridge).
Apapun catatan ini bukanlah untuk melihat semula sejarah
penubuhanGalneryus tetapi untuk berkongsi apa yang dihasilkan oleh band dari
Osaka ini yakni album terbaharu mereka. Phoenix Rising adalah judul buah tangan
terbaharu Galneryus yang memmuatkan 11 buah lagu antaranya "The
Rising" , "Tear Off Your Chain", "Future Never Dies" ,
"Spirit of Steel", "Scars", "The Wind Blows", "T.F.F.B.", "No More Tears", "Bash Out!", "The Time Has
Come" dan "The Phoenix" (Instrumental).
Galneryus yang dianggotai oleh Masatoshi "Sho" Ono

正利
Ono Masatoshi) – vokal (2009–sekarang), Syu – gitar, backing vocal (2001–sekarang),
Taka – bass (2009–sekarang), Junichi Satoh (佐藤 潤一 Satō Jun'ichi) – dram (2003–sekarang)
